Privacy Policy

RenoDFW, LLC operates DFW Lighting. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean RenoDFW, LLC. We are responsible for the personal information described here. This policy covers dfw-lighting.com, quote and booking pages, customer communications, and our seasonal and permanent lighting services. It explains our practices; it does not give blanket consent to texts, advertising or new uses of your information.

Information we collect and where it comes from

• Contact and quote information you provide: name, email, phone number, property address, lighting preferences, home and tree details, budget, requested dates, photos and messages. Please provide only information you are authorized to share and needed for the request.
• Service and transaction records: designs, measurements, site observations, access instructions, accepted quotes, electronic signatures, invoices, payment status, installation and service history, and communications. Our payment processor handles card details; we receive transaction records and limited payment information, such as the last four digits, rather than full card numbers.
• Information from other sources: property imagery, address information and measurements from mapping providers and public sources; delivery, verification and payment results from our providers; and relevant job information from people authorized to arrange work for you.
• Website and device information: IP address, approximate network location, browser and device details, language, screen size, referring and visited pages, timestamps, interactions, and security logs. Quote-link access, signature and payment events may be recorded to support the transaction and document the agreement. Network location is approximate and can be inaccurate.
• Optional precise location: when you sign a quote, the browser may ask for your device location to include with the signature record. You can decline and still sign. We do not use this location for advertising.
• Messaging preferences: your number, messages, verification events, delivery status, opt-in source and time, disclosure version, and opt-out or renewed-consent records.

How we use information

We use this information to answer requests; estimate, design and quote work; verify contact details; arrange and perform services; process payments and refunds; maintain agreement, tax and warranty records; prevent misuse; resolve disputes; honor communication and privacy choices; and meet legal obligations. Optional analytics and advertising measurement help us understand site use and the effectiveness of ads, subject to the choices below.

If you provide an email in the guided quote and leave before submitting, we may save the unfinished request for up to 30 days after its last update and send up to three reminder emails with a resume link. Each reminder includes an unsubscribe link. Website requests and verification activity can still produce operational records even if you do not finish the form.

We use automated tools, including AI-assisted tools, to help interpret property imagery, prepare estimates and handle customer conversations. Relevant property information and conversation context may be processed by these tools. Outputs can be mistaken; contact us for a person to review an estimate or response. An automated estimate is subject to the scope and confirmation terms in your written quote.

Who receives information

We disclose information for these purposes to the following categories of recipients:

• Hosting, storage and security providers: including Vercel, Cloudflare and Upstash, which process website requests, files, operational records, saved drafts and messaging preferences.
• Communication providers: including Cloudflare Email Service for emails and Twilio and mobile carriers for verification, text delivery, replies and opt-out handling.
• Payment providers: including Stripe, which processes payment and billing information necessary to complete transactions, prevent fraud and meet its legal obligations.
• Mapping and automated processing providers: including Google for address and property imagery services and Anthropic for AI-assisted processing of relevant requests and conversations.
• Analytics and advertising providers: Vercel for site analytics and, when enabled and accepted, Google Analytics and Meta for the information described under cookies below.
• People performing the work and professional advisers: employees, installation or service contractors, accountants, insurers and legal advisers, as needed for their responsibilities. A contractor may need contact details, the property address, access instructions and agreed scope.
• Legal and safety recipients: when reasonably necessary to comply with law or a valid legal request, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud, or establish or defend a legal claim.
• A business successor: in a merger, reorganization or sale of the business, with applicable legal protections and continued restrictions on previously collected information. This does not transfer SMS permission to an unrelated sender or authorize new marketing.

We do not sell customer lists for money. Optional advertising technology can constitute a “sale”, “sharing” or targeted advertising under some privacy laws because providers receive online identifiers and activity for advertising purposes. Those optional tags require your acceptance and are subject to your opt-out choices. The separate restrictions on mobile numbers and SMS consent below apply across all recipient categories.

Cookies, analytics and advertising choices

Essential storage supports features such as quote continuity, security and remembering your privacy choice. Hosting logs and Vercel site analytics may process page, device and request information separately from optional advertising tags. These activities are covered by this policy even when you reject optional cookies.

When configured, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel load only after you accept optional cookies, regardless of your location. They may collect online identifiers, pages and interactions, approximate location, device information and quote or booking events. Google Analytics may set _ga cookies; Meta may set _fbp or _fbc cookies and associate activity with a Meta account. Meta information may support ad measurement and audiences. Providers' retention periods and cookie lifetimes depend on their settings and policies; they are separate from our saved privacy choice.

Use Cookie settings in the footer, shown when optional tags are enabled, to reject or withdraw permission. Closing the banner without accepting keeps these tags off. Our choice cookie lasts up to 180 days. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) by keeping optional Google and Meta tags off in that browser, even if it has a previous acceptance. This browser choice does not automatically identify you on other devices; make the choice on each browser or contact us for other applicable opt-out requests. We do not interpret the older Do Not Track signal as a separate choice. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent you from requesting or buying services.

Text messages and mobile information

With the permission described in our SMS Terms and Conditions, we use your number for verification codes, requested quote links, booking confirmations, service updates and related replies. Messages may be automated. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. We do not send marketing or promotional texts. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase.

SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell or rent this information. SMS consent is not transferable to another sender or purpose. Messaging service providers may process numbers, message content, delivery details and consent or opt-out records to operate the program and address spam, fraud and abuse, not for their own marketing. No other sharing provision in this policy authorizes marketing use of that information.

Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. You may also email info@dfw-lighting.com with the affected number. We may retain a minimal opt-out record after other information is deleted so that we can continue honoring your choice. Opting out of texts does not cancel an existing service agreement.

Photos, reviews and outside services

Photos and other materials provided for a quote are used to plan, document and perform work. Sending a private photo does not grant permission to publish it in advertising; we obtain separate permission for that use. If you post a public review, the review platform controls its own handling of that post. We do not offer payment or discounts for Google reviews. Links to other sites do not make their practices ours; review their policies before sharing information directly with them.

Retention and security

Saved unfinished quote answers expire from the draft store after 30 days without an update and are removed from that store when submitted; a submitted request becomes a separate customer record. An email reminder opt-out can leave a fingerprint of the address for suppression. Short-lived verification codes expire separately from consent evidence and security records.

We keep other information for the period reasonably needed for its purpose, considering ongoing projects, service and warranty obligations, accounting and tax requirements, consent evidence, fraud prevention, disputes and applicable limitation periods. Different records can have different retention periods; we do not promise that all records automatically disappear on a single schedule. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, subject to legal holds and backup cycles. Earlier specific commitments and applicable law continue to govern information collected under them where required.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information. No website, storage system or communication channel is completely secure. Do not send passwords, complete payment-card details, government identification numbers or unrelated sensitive information in a quote or text. Our business is based in the United States; providers may process information in the United States and other countries, subject to applicable transfer requirements.

Privacy requests and appeals

You may contact RenoDFW, LLC at info@dfw-lighting.com or call (469) 646-6250 to request access, correction or deletion, or to ask about our practices. Depending on your residence and which laws apply, you may also have rights to confirm processing, receive a portable copy, and opt out of sale, targeted advertising or certain profiling with legal or similarly significant effects. Applicable exceptions can allow us to retain information needed for transactions, security or legal obligations. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

Describe your request and provide contact information we can match to our records. We may request proportionate verification to prevent unauthorized access or deletion, but do not require an account. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted; we may verify their authority. Please do not send sensitive identity documents unless we arrange an appropriate verification method with you.

Where the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act applies, we respond within 45 days of receipt; if a permitted extension is needed, we notify you within that period with the reason and may take up to 45 additional days. Requests are generally free, subject to exceptions allowed by law. If we decline a request, we explain the reason and how to appeal. Send an appeal through the same email or phone contact, identifying the decision and why you seek review. We respond to an applicable Texas appeal within 60 days with our reasons. Other applicable laws may require different procedures or deadlines, which we honor.

You may submit a complaint to the Texas Attorney General or your applicable privacy regulator, including if an appeal is denied.

Children

Our website and services are intended for adults arranging property services and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly solicit children's personal information. If you believe a child provided information, contact us so we can review it and take appropriate action, including deletion when required.

Policy updates and contact

We identify revisions by the effective date above and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required. A policy update does not retroactively expand SMS permission, override an existing agreement, or remove applicable privacy rights.
